Our client is an international renewable energy developer with a proven track record of sustainable growth both in the UK and Internationally. They develop, build, own, and operate Renewable projects globally and have a key focus on Solar PV, Onshore Wind, and BESS assets.They have a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative team comprising of industry experts across multiple functions who are extremely passionate about renewable energy solutions.As they look to progress the business further, they have decided to add another Land Acquisition Manager to the team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the greenfield development of solar, wind and BESS Projects. Reporting to the Head of Origination, you'll be a key player in identifying and securing land for wind and solar farms. This diverse role offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Grid, GIS, Project Management, and technical experts across the business.Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying greenfield development opportunities in partnership with internal Grid and GIS (mapping) teams.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with landowners, agents, and consultants to secure prime solar and onshore wind sites.
  • Leading negotiations for Heads of Terms, Option Agreements and other key contracts with landowners.
  • Coordinating and conducting site visits
  • Reviewing and analysing land ownership and tenancy documentation, ensuring all legal aspects are fully covered.
  • Using the company’s GIS system to record, track, and manage project data.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for landowners throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring seamless communication of land, grid, planning, and legal requirements.
