Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Home-based - Central Scotland
Reports to: Director Level
Salary: c£60,000 plus bonus, car package and additional benefits
The Company:
You will be working for a successful and rapidly growing business that supplies farms and agricultural merchants through both field sales and telesales teams. As the company continues to grow, they have created a new role for an experienced Sales Manager to lead, coordinate and develop their telesales function.
The role: Sales Manager
- You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring high levels of activity, and developing the team to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Performance Management: Set and maintain high standards
- Regular Meetings: Conduct frequent virtual meetings to review team successes, provide motivation, and reset targets.
- Coaching & Training: Deliver 1-2-1 training sessions to support team members and ensure continuous development.
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement telesales strategies to maximise sales performance and enhance conversion rates.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track team performance through call metrics, conversion rates, and other sales data, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in sales techniques, processes, and customer engagement.
- Motivation & Culture: Foster a positive and high-energy environment, ensuring team engagement and retention.
Candidate Profile: Sales Manager
This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a clear vision of excellence in telesales and a passion for coaching and motivating teams to success.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Strong background in managing telephone sales teams and driving performance.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to develop sales talent.
- Clear vision of what excellence looks like in a telesales environment and the ability to implement it effectively to drive exceptional results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and optimize performance.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
