Specialist Claims Preparation Division of our international insurance broker client seeks to appoint MRICS qualified Quantity or Building Surveyor for regional role operating throughout the Scotland ideally from a base in the Glasgow/Edinburgh area.

  • You will work on a hybrid base both from home and from one of client's regional offices depending on where you currently live.
  • You will work alongside a team of Claims Preparation Consultants who in turn handle challenging portfolios of commercial property losses ranging in value from £10,000 to multi-million GBP for a wide range of SME and corporate clients.
  • You will oversee with the project management of all repairs in respect of the larger and more complex buildings losses from inception through to completion.

About you:

  • Candidates must essentially be MRICS qualified either through the Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying Division and have at least 3-4 years experience of working in either a loss adjusting or claims preparation capacity.
  • You should display a strong knowledge of Surveying Services and the part it plays in returning insured parties to their pre-loss position.
  • You must live in Scotland and be happy to travel extensively to handle claims.

Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary to £60-70,000 plus car allowance, pension, private medical care and 27 days holiday.
