Our client is an award winning, family-owned care group operating over 20-homes across the UK. They strive to provide the best standard of care within their homes that are bolstered with exceptional teams. Together we are searching for an energetic Group Head of Marketing to lead from the front in the delivery of marketing initiatives.

The Role

A seasoned marketing specialist, with a track record in delivering outstanding solutions and results is required for the position. As Group Head of Marketing, you will manage the existing marketing team and report directly to the CEO, working as a united team to promote a consistent brand image. This role is centred around delivery, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in day-to-day marketing activities. Previous experience in a role of a similar scope within the independent healthcare industry is preferrable.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with home managers to create bespoke marketing campaigns, ensure consistency with styling and branding, and improve first impressions. You'll stay closely connected to the industry, ensuring a constant pulse on trends and challenges. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the recruitment team on campaigns to enhance recruitment effectiveness. Brand expectations will also be a key part of your role, alongside designing and championing the marketing strategy. It is envisaged that this is a full-time permanent role.

Location

This is a remote position, based from home, with travel to services in Scotland. Candidate’s from across the Scotland will be considered for the role.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven track record in successfully leading both internal and external marketing efforts.
  • Experience working in a multi-site role, curating tailored plans for each site.
  • Comfortable with branding and identity awareness.
  • Understanding of consistent styling and first impressions both online and in person.
  • Ability to form and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with national travel elements of the role.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the care home industry, with a clear understanding of the challenges faced within the sector is beneficial (but not essential).
  • A team player, with the capability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving collective objectives.

  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, multi-tasking individual with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Adaptable and competent at dealing with ever changing demands.
  • Quick learner with the ability to absorb information rapidly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional people skills, with experience in direct-line management
  • High attention to detail.

Interview Process

This is a multi-stage interview process. The first stage will be an informal Teams with CEO, second stage a face to face meet and final stage will be in a home.
