iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting company based in Fife and are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the team on a 6-month basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing shared mailboxes in a multi-currency, large-business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, invoice processing, and reporting.

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Inverkeithing

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract, 6 months

Starting: Immediately, as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to finance-related queries in a shared mailbox efficiently.
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple currencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process invoices and support the purchase ledger function.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Assist in financial reporting, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Proven experience in shared mailbox management within a large, multi-currency business.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and purchase ledger management.
  • Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or large corporate environment.
