Role Responsibilities
As an Audit Semi Senior, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality audit services while building your technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting external audits for a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, charities, housing associations, and pension schemes
- Preparing accounts and ensuring audit documentation is completed to a high standard
- Liaising with colleagues, Managers, and Partners to ensure smooth delivery of client engagements
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing support and addressing queries
- Completing work within agreed timescales and budgets
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and contributing to team projects as required

Candidate Requirements
- Part-qualified or newly qualified CA or ACCA with recent external audit experience
- Proven experience in accounts preparation within a public practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrable ability to work to budgets and deadlines
- IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, CCH Audit Automation, SAGE, Xero, and CaseWare IDEA preferred
- A team player who is eager to grow and develop within the firm
- £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
