Orion Group are working with a very successful Civil Engineering contractor with a long history of delivering high quality and complex projects across Scotland.
Due some recent high profile contract wins there looking to add numerous Site Agents to there team to work across Scotland on a variety of projects including Windfarms, Substations & Cabling.
As the Sub Agent you will assist the Site Agent/Project Manager in the day to day running of the site and supervise all operatives and sub-contractors to ensure a high quality of workmanship.
Managing employees and specialist contractors on site and keeping all paperwork up to date.
Following all safety, quality and environmental procedures in conjunction with the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan, Quality Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of the following:
- Previous experience of a similar role within the construction industry
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Knowledgeable in setting out
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering e.g. HND, HNC, BEng Civil Engineering or industry equivalent
- Experienced in dealing with engineering staff, direct labour and sub-contractors
- Able to communicate with staff and operatives at all levels
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Willing to mentor and develop more junior staff
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS 5 day
- First aid training (desirable)
- Valid driving licence
- Happy to work away from home if not from the local area.
