Join our clients team in Inverness where they pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a strong, productive team environment. We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Workshop Controller/Assistant Service Manager to oversee their workshop operations and ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise the daily workshop schedule to meet customer expectations and maximise efficiency.
  • Manage, support, and motivate the workshop team to meet high performance standards.
  • Assign jobs to technicians based on their individual skills and expertise.
  • Maintain strong communication throughout the day with Service Advisors and the Sales Team, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve any technical or personnel issues in the workshop quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure that workshop targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Strong organisational skills with experience in workshop management or a related automotive role.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and support a team of technicians.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between the workshop, service advisors, and sales team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle technician issues promptly.
