Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced couple to undertake housekeeping and lodge management duties across a commercial lodge and holiday cottage portfolio. The successful applicants will work together to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the properties to a high standard.

This role requires flexibility, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage others effectively during busy periods. A willingness to cover all aspects of housekeeping, from maintaining inventories and welcoming guests to hands-on cleaning, is essential. During the low season, duties may extend to other areas of the Estate.

Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Lodge Management
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, bed-making, and laundry
  • Ensure guest areas are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming
  • Organise and carry out seasonal deep cleaning and regular inspections
  • Greet guests upon arrival and ensure they have a comfortable stay.
  • Set up guest rooms, including name plaques on bedroom doors and welcome hampers.
  • Coordinate with the lodge chef regarding dietary requirements and meal planning.
  • Assist with breakfast service and organise shoot lunches, including transportation where needed.
  • Assist with various estate-related duties during quieter months.
Person Specification:
  • Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or estate management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a small team effectively.
  • Willingness to perform both managerial and hands-on tasks.
  • A friendly, professional attitude with excellent guest service skills.
  • High degree of adaptability due to the varied nature of the role.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
