Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service and Repair Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in your local area, providing top-notch service to our valued customers. If you thrive in a field-based role and enjoy problem-solving, this is the perfect opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting maintenance and repair services on a variety of equipment in customers' homes.

  • Utilising state-of-the-art fault-finding equipment to diagnose issues effectively.

  • Upselling and fitting additional products as required to enhance the customer experience.

  • Managing your work schedule efficiently to cover 6-8 jobs per day within your local area.

  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional image in all interactions.


Induction and Training:

  • Induction:8 days of classroom-based training.

  • First Day:Arrange your own transport; travel expenses will be reimbursed (keep receipts).

  • Support and Monitoring (S&M):Ongoing support and monitoring for the first 2-3 weeks to ensure you are comfortable and proficient in your role as a Gas Engineer.


Perks and Benefits:

  • Base Salary:£43,733 per annum.

  • Location Allowance (LWA):Up to £6,000, dependent on area.

  • Bonus Scheme:Uncapped earnings potential through our quarterly bonus scheme. Average earnings are around £54,000, with higher potential for those who excel in upselling and additional product fitting.

  • Work Schedule:40-hour working week, spread over 5 days. Shifts can start as early as 7am and end as late as 8pm, with weekends considered core working hours. Shift patterns are provided 6 weeks in advance with an option to input shift preferences.

  • Overtime (OT):Paid at time and a half.

  • Annual Leave:33 days, including bank holidays.
