Job Opportunity: Project Manager (Renewable Energy Project in Inverness)

We are representing a well-known and highly regarded civil engineering contractor. They have a sterling reputation for completing some of the UK's most recognisable and technically challenging projects, operating across various sectors including water, marine, land remediation, and energy.

Our client is looking to expand its team with an experienced Project Manager for a project based in Inverness. Working on a renewable energy project, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pipeline work, overseeing projects from inception to completion. This role is integral to the successful execution of a large, long-term framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Management: Ensure all HSEQ standards are met and maintained throughout the project.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Budget Management: Work within budget constraints to deliver projects cost-effectively.
  • Personnel Management: Manage on-site personnel effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Commercial Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Report Generation and Record-Keeping: Generate necessary reports and maintain accurate records of project progress.
  • Contractual Adherence: Ensure adherence to all contractual agreements and obligations.
Essential Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Education to a degree or HNC level in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects, primarily within the renewable energy sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Extensive technical knowledge and understanding of all civil site activities.
  • Communication Skills: Proactive and effective communication skills.
  • Driver’s License: Full UK driver’s license.
