Company Overview:
Our client, a leading specialist in high voltage (HV) cabling with over a decade of excellence in the industry, is expanding their team with experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a temporary basis in Beauly for a minimum of 3 months.
What You Can Expect:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Duration: Minimum 3 -6 Â months
- Rate:  £300 to £500 per day depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects within the power sector, ensuring cost control and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate cost forecasts, financial reports, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Administer contracts and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, resolving disputes and mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Degree or HND equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Previous experience on large-scale civil engineering or renewable projects.
- Experience working with High Voltage cabling is advantageous.
