Our client a local award winning family bakery currently have a vacancy for an Shop Manager based within their Harbour Road shop in Inverness.The hours of work would fall between the hours of 7.30am-3.00pm Mon-Sat, and will operate on a Rota basis on a contract of 39 hours per week.The Main Duties with this role will be (not limited to):

  • Responsible for coordinating & controlling shops to ensure a high standard of operation and on occasion managing the shops when required
  • Responsible for recruitment for the shop
  • Opening and closing of the shop
  • Able to demonstrate high standards of conduct & leadership at all times, monitoring & motivating your team to provide top quality customer care.
  • Carrying out administrative duties as required i.e. Rota, Timesheets, ordering
  • Responsible for ensuring high standards of hygiene, adhering to health & safety/company practices
  • Required to assist in the training & development of the team

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have experience within a Supervisory or Management role
  • Enjoy customer interaction
  • Be willing to work additional hours if the business required them to do so
  • Demonstrate working well within a team

Experience in a similar role desirable however not essential as training is given.
