We are seeking a Part time Management Accountant to join a friendly and supportive team in a well-established firm located in the heart of Ipswich. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee all management accounts duties, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
  • Monitor internal controls and ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Review financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data.
  • Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a professional LLP background such as an accountancy practice or law firm/ Similar. 
  • Strong understanding of the operational and financial structure of LLPs (not limited companies).
  • Part AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent or Qualified by Experience 
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
