Opus People Solutions are seeking a Pensions Team Leader in Ipswich on a full time, permanent basis.

We are seeking candidates that may be in either a senior pensions or payroll position that are looking for a step up.

You will have the opportunity to work hybrid and flexibly, whilst working with clients and key suppliers to ensure the services are delivered within contractual agreements and legal time frames.

Day to day, you will:

  • Lead and manage our Pension and Reporting team, ensuring the service is providing the value to our customers and compliant with legislation.
  • Accurately complete the associated administration involved in multiple Pension schemes, including LGPS and Teachers Pension schemes.
  • Liaise with pension providers regularly to ensure accuracy and timely return of pension data.
  • Support the team in dealing with Pension queries within our SLA and managing escalations.
  • Working closely with Payroll, Helpdesk and Systems teams, ensuring they are up to date with company and legislation changes.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports with high levels of detail with the ability to reconcile and interpret the data.
  • Support the monthly Pension and Reporting processes and verify accuracy of pension transactions.
  • Monitor the auto enrolment process, ensuring correct worker assessment and scheme type is applied.
  • Lead on annual compliance tasks, ensuring deadlines are met with customers as well as legislation deadlines.
