We are seeking a Senior Accountant, either part-qualified, newly qualified, or nearly qualified, to manage the accounts of a subsidiary company. This role offers hybrid flexible working and is based in the vibrant area of East Ipswich. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of a subsidiary company.
  • Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
  • Develop financial reviews and providing investment advice.
  • Handle accruals and prepayments and manage monthly closure accounts.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Part-qualified, newly qualified, or nearly qualified accountant.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Solid organisational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and finance management software. MS Dynamics and advanced Excel 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
