Job Opening: Financial Accounts Assistant – SAP Project

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a committed Financial Accounts Assistant to join our team and support the Financial Accounting Team in fulfilling the SAP Project requirements for both the UK and Group within the specified timelines. This role includes assisting with cash forecasting, managing purchase ledger tasks, and participating in various ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of team processes to provide coverage and enhance understanding for the SAP project.
  • Support various ad hoc projects as required.
  • Perform tasks to ensure the SAP Project requirements are met for the Group and UK Business within the designated timelines.
  • Actively identify opportunities for improvements within the team due to the SAP Project implementation.
  • Recognise and address issues that may affect the success of the SAP Project.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude within the credit control and Financial Accounting teams.

  • Knowledgeable in cash forecasting, treasury, and purchase ledger functions.
  • Proactive and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the flexibility to adapt to workload demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project work.
  • Part qualified or pursuing an AAT qualification.
