Skills and experience you’ll bring to us

We would like you to bring an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail due to this role focusing heavily on schedule accuracy and the quality of data.

Previous shipping knowledge and experience is helpful, however, we also value passion and we will always support learning and training our people. Advantageous is an n aptitude for numeracy, literacy and IT skills within applications such as Power BI, Microsoft Office suite.

How you will help us and what you can expect

This role will play a key part in further development of our schedule reliability and contributes to the optimisation of our services.

Through training you will principally be focused on schedule management. Further key objectives for the role include being a first point of contact for schedule related matters as well as supporting and managing the schedule platform.

You will be engaging with key stakeholders across our Geneva head office, planning and across agencies by proactively working on schedule improvements and resolving any failures whilst ensuring operations are efficient and cost effective.

Further responsibilities also include:

  • Daily schedule updating management

  • Ensure end of regions are updated to match actual last port of region when rotation changes are made that impact the original declared proforma EOR

  • Ensure within the 5-week window that all departures are either assigned a vessel or declared blank sailing

  • Identify all TBN sailings and raise with Network, Planning and discuss actions to take, updating with an official vessel sailing or declare as blank sailing

  • Ensure there is schedule coordination between all parties making sure there are no unmanaged schedules or vessels within a specific service.

  • Focus on and facilitate the organization’s strategy for schedule reliability within the network

  • Ensure continuous analyse of data to identify any areas of possible improvements

  • Ensure that the schedules of the vessels are managed to optimum reliability while taking into consideration the constraints of the network.

  • Assist the Planning teams in day-to-day schedule maintenance.

  • Monitor and manage the accuracy of information provided in terms of uploading and validation of the schedule platform.

  • Analyse vessel performance against Proforma / Live Schedules

  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with All schedule coordinators, Planners, Port Captains, and Network Area Managers.
