We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our client's finance team on a three-month fixed-term contract. This role is based in Ipswich and offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment.
  • Handle customer queries related to accounts receivable and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update the financial database.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare relevant reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle queries efficiently.
