Time Appointments are working on behalf of a prestigious financial services company based in Ipswich, who are looking for a Business Analyst to join their fantastic team! As a Business Analyst the successful applicant will be responsible for understanding business change needs, assessing the impact of those changes, then capturing, analysing and documenting requirements, before supporting the communication and delivery of them.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders throughout the business to collate business requirements, identify process improvements and document them.
  • Ensuring that business requirements and technical practicalities are aligned with the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Investigate competitive commercial solutions and carry out research where required.
  • Monitor/oversee the implementation of approved process improvements, ensuring requirements are met.
  • Be involved in the testing of internal and outsourced systems, and the training of staff for new systems, as part of any project.
  • Work with the Project Managers to collate/compare requirements from all areas of the business to ensure resources are being used in the most impactful/efficient way.
  • Establish good working relationships and arrangements with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the triage of business change requests sent to the Project Office.

Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard (at least grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English)
  • Prior experience of working as a Business Analyst
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - and able to deliver communications in a concise manner
  • Highly organised, with great attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Previous experience within financial services is advantageous
  • Previous experience in using Atlassian software is advantageous e.g. Confluence, Trello, Jira
