Systems Delivery Manager

We are seeking a Systems Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of technical and system changes to meet both client and business needs, as well as regulatory requirements. This role encompasses overseeing system support across technical, applications, and business domains for their clients and third parties. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the change roadmap and evolving operating model.



Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide system change and development services to meet project timelines and deliver specified business outcomes.
  • Support platforms to meet regulatory, security, risk, and continuity standards.
  • Continuously review and improve processes, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Accurately assess the impact of system changes and record efforts for effective cost management.
  • Manage resources to align with project and business priorities.
  • Support audits and client onboarding/offboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to direct technical change and support.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the systems support team.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders to offer expertise on development and support activities.
  • Maintain legislative compliance and operational resiliency.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive experience managing multi-disciplined teams in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in technical and systems design, development, and delivery using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Strong background in systems and technical support, including applications and business intelligence.
  • Skilled in systems and applications customisation and configuration.
  • Expertise in planning and managing complex, large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of ETL principles, software development methodologies, and SOLID development principles.
  • Experience with unit testing, quality assurance, data migration, and normalisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Innovative thinker with pragmatic approach and sound technical judgement.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on delivery and attention to detail.
