- BARR Personnel is seeking 5 HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for a permanent contract in Ipswich, offering a salary that includes overtime after 10 hours.
- Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 licence (CAT C+E) for at least 2 years, along with a CPC Card and Digital Tachograph card.
- The position requires good communication skills and delivery experience, with no serious convictions on the driving licence.
- Drivers will work Monday to Friday with potential early starts and up to 4 nights out a week, along with occasional Saturday runs.
- Successful candidates can expect immediate start, holiday pay, and uniform provided while working in a professional and proactive environment.
Minimum standards required are the following;
hgv class 1 licence (CAT C+E) (held for at least 2 years for insurance purposes)
drivers CPC card
digital tachograph card
no DR, DD, DG or IN Conviction codes on driving licence
good communication skill with other colleagues on site
safety boots and hi-viz
delivery experience is essential
