Chef de Partie

Fynn Valley is set in the Suffolk countryside on the outskirts of Ipswich. Along with providing a variety of food to our Members, we also cater for Weddings, Parties, Corporate Days, Christmas Parties, Celebrations of life and so much more. We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, talented and energetic Chef de Partie, who is looking for a new challenge and is ready to become an integral part of our experienced kitchen team.

About the Role of Chef de Partie

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will have the following skills:

  • A good understanding of using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced produce
  • A Professional qualification is desirable but not essential, as long as matched with experience
  • An up-to-date Level 2, Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Ensure that the kitchen environment meets EHO Standards and expectations
  • Understanding and awareness of the various allergens
  • Ensure that stock is correctly managed, and wastage kept to a minimum
  • Able to order and check in purchases
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately without supervision
  • Able to work flexible hours (a mix of early, late and split shifts)
  • Ability to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard presentation is key.
  • Punctuality and the desire not to let the team down.
  • Own transport
