Commis Chef

Fynn Valley Terrace is set in the Suffolk countryside on the outskirts of Ipswich. Whilst we are a members Golf Club, we are also open to members of the public. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and energetic Breakfast and Lunch Chef to join our expanding team.

About the Role of Commis Chef

Working under the guidance of our Head Chef, you should have:

  • Prior kitchen experience (2 years +) along with the relevant qualification
  • Food Health & Safety Qualification to a minimum of Level 2
  • Catering Qualifications are desired
  • Ability to place orders and organise the kitchen to produce high quality Breakfasts and Lunches

Hours of work:

48 hours a week including weekends. Days off may be during the week, so a flexible approach is required for the role

In addition to the above you should be dependable and understand the importance of punctuality and not letting the team down. This is mainly a daytime role but will involve weekends and is based on a 48-hour week, supporting seasonal evening functions E.g. summer weddings and Dec parties.
