We are delighted to be working on behalf of this market leading Health and Social Care client who are on the search for a Head Chef. You will lead the kitchen team to prepare and cook high-quality meals, meeting our clients standards. Manage staff, including chefs and catering assistants, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan weekly menus in consultation with the Head of Operations and service users.
- Oversee food preparation, storage, and presentation, ensuring all standards are met.
- Manage kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and Brainkind policies.
- Maintain equipment and cleaning schedules, reporting faults as needed.
- Lead staff training and development, identifying training needs.
- Manage the catering department budget, keeping costs within limits.
