Finstech Recruitment & Consultancy are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join us for an exciting opportunity, based at our new Ipswich office.  This is a newly created role to support the business development of our recently launched recruitment tool, 365jobs.co.uk.  The main objective of this role is to increase the 365jobs.co.uk brand's visibility and drive new business growth. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing agreed sales strategies to achieve targets and goals, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through various lead generation methods.  Your primary focus will be on promoting the platform's fixed fee recruitment tool, which offers SMEs a cost-effective and time-saving solution to manage their recruitment needs. Creating opportunities through a combination of lead generating initiatives, your goal will be to secure time with potential clients to provide a demonstration of the 365jobs platform, closing a deal and facilitating the onboarding of the new client.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a business development/sales role, ideally in the recruitment sector, or developing a SaaS business. They will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  This is a hybrid role so being in a commutable distance of Ipswich would be ideal.  Regular travel to networking events and client sites will be required so a full driving licence (ideally clean) is essential.  Base salary is £25k + performance related bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through e-mails, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and candidates.
  • Ensure all sales activity is recorded and reported accurately.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions and conferences to promote brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, including sales and revenue data.

Key Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a business development/sales role, ideally in recruitment or IT application sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the recruitment and IT consultancy sectors is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license
