Reed are delighted to be working with an international, industry-leading organisation in Ipswich, who are seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their team. With a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 plus bonus on offer, the role is open to individuals with no previous experience but who possess excellent communication skills and are willing to learn and progress their career. The higher end of the salary banding is reserved for candidates with strong experience in a sales or customer-focused role.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm, or 7am to 4pm (1 hour lunch).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain long-term existing customer loyalty.
  • Generate profitable sales through effective telephone sales techniques and resources.
  • Address and resolve customer queries regarding invoices, orders, or stock.
  • Proactively target and develop new customers into consistent trading accounts.
  • Promote digital channels to enhance customer offerings, including the webshop and other digital services.
  • Collaborate on promotions, sales events, supplier days, and new product launches.
  • Utilise IT systems such as M3, Vecta, and Microsoft Office to support the customer experience.
  • Provide support in other areas of the branch as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a competitive customer-focused role (B2B, B2C, retail/hospitality).
  • Proven background in sales or a target-driven role.
  • Customer-centric with a strong service background.
  • Proactive sales skills via phone, face-to-face, and online.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
  • Keen ability to recognise sales opportunities.
  • Openness to embrace change and new technologies.
