Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards;
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems;
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure optimal service delivery;
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inventory used;
  • Stay updated on the latest industry standards and technologies; and
  • Cover out-of-hours emergency call-outs on a rota basis.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, with a strong background in installations and commissioning (15+ years)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction; and
  • Full UK driving license, and willingness to travel throughout Greater London and the A12 corridor to Suffolk.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with security systems; and
  • Smoke ventilation testing, installation and commissioning.
