We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our client’s Commercial team based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will support the Business Development Manager to maintain and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of various weekly and monthly reports.
- Complete analysis of trade/Intermodal/customer activities.
- Quoting and following up all rate enquires.
- Research of Industry and customer activities.
- Building relationships with customers.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience within an Import/Export environment is essential.
- Previous experience of reporting.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer service under pressure.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Time management skills required.
- Strong telesales and negotiation skills essential.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages essential.
