Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ipswich. This static role will primarily focus on daily reactive and routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities within a commercial building. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring incoming works, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine PPM tasks and address reactive work as needed.
  • Supervise sub-contractors in accordance with company processes.
  • Ensure complete statutory and non-statutory compliance at all times.
  • Maintain up-to-date site log books and documentation.
  • Keep plant rooms and work areas tidy and organised.
  • Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating politeness and courtesy in all interactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance processes.
  • Ability to supervise and manage sub-contractors effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
