Electrical Shift Engineer FM Service Provider - Government Contract - Ipswich - £45,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Ipswichhas arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to be based on a government contract in Ipswich. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. Due to the sites you will be based on you will be required to go through SC clearance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work
  • 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 off
  • 7 am - 7 pm - Days
  • 7 pm - 7 am - Nights
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements
  • Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (Essential)
