PV Electrician
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established electrical and mechanical contractor based in Ipswich to work around the local area.
Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting for a skilled PV Electrician to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and commissioning solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission domestic and commercial solar PV systems.
- Carry out electrical testing and fault finding on PV installations.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience with solar PV installation (domestic and/or commercial).
- Full UK driving license.
- Desirable:
- C&G 2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspection qualification.
- MCS Certification experience.
- Knowledge of battery storage systems and EV charge points.
