Required background:Housebuilding
We are working closely with a 5* national housebuilder operating throughout Suffolk to strengthen their Technical team with an experienced Architectural Technician coming from a developer or practice background.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide architectural and technical support for regional site and office operations.
- Offer technical assistance for planning applications.
- Coordinate and manage the technical documentation.
- Prepare housing layouts, working drawings, and details for site variations and bespoke units.
- Oversee and integrate designs from specialist suppliers into working drawing packages
- Manage external consultants for landscaping designs.
- Produce designs within agreed timelines to meet regional targets.
- Consider commercial aspects of design decisions.
- Liaise with Local Authority Building Control to resolve technical and design issues.
- Prepare and coordinate legal conveyance plans.
- Ensure effective communication with all departments and levels.
