Events Coordinator required ASAP to join a building and construction company Ipswich.
This is a Temporary position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying 13.33 - 14.35 per hour (26,000 - 28,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This position will be working closely with the Executive team to provide a first-class service in planning, managing and executing company events.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Events Coordinator position:
- 3+ years previous experience within a similar role.
- Foundation degree, higher national diploma or a degree in events management, Level 4 Diploma in Event Management or a Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning.
- Creative and innovative approach to event management.
- Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.
- Negotiation skills to secure pricing from venues and suppliers etc.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong administration and communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to influence all stakeholders working to deliver company events on time and within budget.
- Attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic team orientated approach.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
