Our client is a Global Tech Giant, involved in the research and development leading edge devices for the next generation of communications networks and is based within the Innovation high-tech cluster of companies. In this role you will be responsible for handling and processing delicate semiconductor material.

There is no public transport to site at times during shift working hours, so it would be advantageous to have your own transport.Free parking is available on site.

Main Responsibilities

You will be working closely with colleagues as part of a small technology-based cells (4-8 people) dedicated to key stages of the production flow within highly controlled cleanroom and laboratory environments. Full training will be provided to candidates to work in this exciting, technical environment at the forefront of innovation.

  • Operating tools to process material through the applicable stage in the manufacturing process according to the standard required in SOP documents, meeting targets for cycle time and quality and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Operating a variety of different types of Fab / Test Equipment - optical vision systems, manual and automated devices as well as the use of chemicals.
  • Carrying out quality inspections, requiring strong attention to detail
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and safety with a focus on driving improvements to yield
  • Completing documentation to a high standard and collating data on processes as required

Sunday Night- Thursday Night 10pm-6am

£15.15 per hour, with additional overtime rates.

Rolling 12 month assignments. The assignment is renewed annually based on performance and workload and it is expected that the person will join the team on a long-term basis.
