MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a growing business on the outskirts of Ipswich. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the full Accounts Payable function, managing a team of Accounts Payable Clerks.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of Acounts Payable Clerks
  • Track and ensure timely and accurate invoice checking & processing by the team
  • Track and manage statement reconciliations.
  • Oversee the query resolution process for the Accounts Payable team
  • First point of escalation for any invoice issues or disputes
  • Assist with month-end process and financial reporting analysis
  • Key contact for the Supply team regarding any invoicing or payment issues
  • Working closely with different departments within the business

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Prior experience within a high volume invoicing role
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organized and able to prioritise workload and deadlines.
  • Be able to appraise processes, suggest and implement improvements
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Experience using a finance system
