Pure is excited to be working with a dynamic and growing charity committed to making a real difference in the lives of those in need. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Finance Manager to join our team.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations of the charity, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, providing financial insight and supporting decision-making. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with charity financial regulations and managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including a team of three.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with charity regulations.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and relevant charity legislation.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for grant applications and fundraising campaigns.
  • Assist with the development of financial strategy to support the charity's long-term goals.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in the charity sector or not-for-profit is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of charity finance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Excel.
