We are seeking a Multi Trade operative for a permanent role with a reputable social housing company in Ipswich.
The position involves renovations and maintenance work across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk, requiring NVQ Level 2 qualifications in a core trade and a full UK driver's license.
The successful candidate will earn a salary of £33,000 per annum, with potential for an increase after 12 months based on performance.
Responsibilities include working in both void and tenanted properties, carrying out maintenance duties, and ensuring tools are well-maintained.

We are looking for a Multi Trade operative in the Ipswich area to work for a highly established social housing company in the area. The position would be a permanent role and would involve working within social housing doing renovations and maintenance covering Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

The successful Multi trade operative will be responsible for:

Working in void and tenanted properties
Working individually and as part of a team when required
Call outs on a rota basis
Carry out fault fixing, construction, maintenance duties
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good condition
Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

The successful Responsive Supervisor will:

Be NVQ Level 2 qualified in a core subject (carpentry/ plumbing/ electrical) NVQ Level 3 if Plumbing is qualification
Aware of Health and Safety Regulation
Skills in carpentry, plumbing and decorating
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Full UK drivers license
