Bristow Holland is recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an expanding team within a growing technology-driven business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and best practices while working closely with internal teams and customers.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that underpins the company’s SaaS and PaaS solutions. This includes managing cloud environments, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and supporting the wider team with technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of the Microsoft Azure infrastructure (internal, SaaS, and PaaS).
- Oversee cybersecurity best practices for infrastructure.
- Provide recommendations on best practices for infrastructure management.
- Work alongside the Support Team to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Provide training and upskilling to colleagues.
- Manage and report on Azure cost optimisation.
- Assist with migrating customers from legacy cloud environments to new solutions.
- Ensure best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity are implemented.
- Experience supporting 3rd line Infrastructure.
- Virtual server experience with either VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Strong ability to design, provision, and support IT infrastructure.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and database management is desirable.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve critical system issues under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-driven mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal teams and customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and collaborate with remote teams when necessary.
