Warehouse Coordinator

Join a trusted provider of care and patient handling equipment, dedicated to improving lives and enabling better care! We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our client's team in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. Your contributions will directly impact our client's ability to meet their customers' needs effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently carry out all warehouse work, ensuring the warehouse is kept to a cleanly, tidy standard
  • Assist delivery drivers with unloading and signing for incoming deliveries.
  • Unpack goods and manage stock, preparing items for installation or delivery, and support with deliveries and installations as required.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and setup for advanced products.
  • Manage goods-in queries and assist with warranty and returns processes.
  • Pick orders accurately for installation and delivery.
  • Utilise and update the stock system regularly.
  • Prepare goods for carriers by 3:00 PM daily.
  • Conduct regular stock taking and manage manual stock adjustments.
  • Oversee demo stock handling, including decontamination and testing.
  • Adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy in all duties.
  • Be flexible and ready to assist with additional tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, and the ability to use your own initiative
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: You will be adept at managing your time and prioritising tasks.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A practical approach to overcoming challenges and finding efficient solutions.
  • Positive Attitude: A can-do spirit that contributes to a vibrant workplace.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to handle a variety of tasks as they arise.

Hours and Compensation:

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: Full Time, 7 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Salary: 27,000 - 30,000, dependent on experience.
