About The RoleOverall Purpose of the roleAssist with a range food and beverage service activities on the wards. Main aim will be to carry out a range of catering duties, ensuring a high-quality service is provided at all times.You will be working Saturday and Sunday between 16:00 to 19:00, 6 hours per week.Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Assisting with food preparation / probing food for temperature / completing due diligence paperwork
  • Dishing up food and drinks on the ward to patients
  • Replacing / refilling of water jugs
  • Assist with collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery and trays
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for the next shift
  • Ordering stock and filling up
  • Report broken equipment to supervisor

Professional QualificationsFood Hygiene Certificate at National Level 1 - preferred but not essential as training will be givenExperience

  • Experience in catering role
  • Good customer service skills
  • Use of tablet is desirable but training will be provided
