We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established client, who is currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator/Team Leader to join their team. Our client has a proud heritage in delivering top-tier warehousing and storage solutions, with a solid reputation for exceptional quality, service, and customer satisfaction. As a Warehouse Administrator/Team Leader, you'll contribute to the smooth running of operations in a brand-new, modern, and clean warehouse facility, leading a dynamic team that values integrity, dedication, and excellence.

Role Overview:As a Warehouse Administrator/Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and audits.
  • Coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods according to company procedures.
  • Developing and refining warehouse processes to enhance performance and safety.
  • Assisting in training new staff on standard operating procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Preparing and managing documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Arranging inbound cargo and liaising with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Speaking with warehouse staff to ensure tasks are carried out effectively.
  • Booking jobs onto the in-house system and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Handling billing and quoting for warehouse services.
  • Monitoring staff performance and addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
  • Bringing fresh ideas and quickly resolving issues as they arise.

Working Hours:Monday to Friday, with two shift options:

  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

What We’re Looking For:The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse administration within the logistics or shipping sector.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and warehouse management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • The ability to bring new and innovative ideas to improve processes and efficiency.

Salary:£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
