Administrator required for a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave within the education sector. The role will provide support for all the functions of Business Engagement; helping to manage the relationship between internal and external stakeholders, and provide support / administration with preparation for funding bids, business engagement events and knowledge exchange projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing pre-award and post-award administrative support for business engagement funding bids and costings.
  • Create and maintain the project tracker for all business engagement projects including key dates for submissions to funders and stakeholders.
  • Inputting contacts and create communications through CRM software.
  • Manage the CPD online learning environment for external learners and support course delivery through this means.
  • Digital Champion for the team, supporting the establishment and roll out of relevant systems.
  • Maintain and update the Business Engagement website, LinkedIn page and Twitter feed, newsletter(s) and other outputs.
  • Administration support of events and bookings where required (working with other administrators).
  • Administration support for knowledge exchange projects as and when required.
  • Follow financial processes and lead on financial administration.
  • Support relevant Committees, working groups and project management meetings.
  • Regularly produce activity and performance reports for Business Engagement Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations and Equality and Diversity policy.
  • Attend marketing events / business exhibitions, including out of hours as required.
  • Carry out any other duties which are commensurate with this grade and role.

Applicants will have strong admin experience, organisation and communication skills. Ideally applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent, or a comparable level of expertise.
