Job description / Title: Office Assistant

Salary / Hourly rate: £18,000 - £23,000 (subject to experience)

Our client EPPH is now seeking to appoint an Office Assistant to provide high-level administrative assistance for office and projects teams in Ipswich, on a permanent basis. Their company has grown to become a major player in a number of industries which have resulted in their continued growth. Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring efficient assistance with the general administration activities in office
  • Provide first line communication, support with the fleet, booking vehicles for repairs
  • Review and approve daily timesheets data and work hours for site employees
  • Raising purchase orders for completed works and maintain registers
  • Responsible for preparing and distribution of office letters to customers
  • Assisting projects with RAMS & Permits where required
  • Arranging training courses for EPPH personnel and contact external training providers
  • Health and safety in-house responsibilities
  • Assist in organising team outings and other events (your ideas are at the forefront, be creative!)

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills including spelling and writing

  • Good problem-solving skills - enjoy a challenge
  • Excellent team and relationship building skills
  • Show initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work autonomously as well as effectively in a team
  • Available 42.5 hours a week
  • Full permanent working rights in the UK
  • UK current and clear manual driving license

Desired competencies:

  • 1+ year of administrative experience
  • Good computer skills
  • MS Office
