About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Materials Controller with a background in inventory management to join our clients team in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and computer skills to ensure all stock is continuously updated on the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the production stores professionally, ensuring accurate computer records in line with company procedures.
  • Daily booking in and out of components, kits, and finished products to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Regularly reconcile physical stock with computerised records.
  • Book in goods received.
  • Pack and dispatch completed orders.
  • Maintain the online logging of production cards detailing parts and materials used for each job.
  • Ensure personal health and safety and engage in personal development, staying updated with job-relevant issues.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential.
  • Computer literate, with familiarity in stock control systems.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Training will be provided, but prior experience in a similar role is highly beneficial.
