HTS Concrete Technician Site and Office Based Role

The Role - What You'll Be Doing
As a Concrete Technician, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality testing and structural investigations across a wide range of UK infrastructure projects. This is a dual role involving both site work and office-based reporting. You'll be expected to:
·Carry out concrete sampling and testing in accordance with UKAS standards
·Operate site hand tools and testing equipment confidently and safely
·Work nights, weekends, and stay away from home when required
·Record detailed site findings including sketches, notes, and data logs
·Deliver concise site briefings and communicate effectively with project teams
·Work safely at height, in confined spaces, and over water
·Assist in structural inspections (experience here would be a major plus)
·Produce accurate reports using standard IT systems and industry software
 
What You'll Need to Succeed
·Minimum 2 years' experience in concrete testing
·UKAS-accredited background in materials testing
·Strong attention to detail and communication skills
·Comfortable in physically demanding environments
·Fully IT literate and confident with data entry and reporting
·Full UK driving licence
·Experience in structural inspections is highly desirable
