We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Partner to join our clients growing team within their finance function. This isn't just any finance role - within this role you'll build strong relationships with business stakeholders to develop functional cost base insight and influence decision making.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and strategic guidance to enhance organisational performance. This position requires a strong background in financial services, leadership capabilities, and expertise in financial management. The Finance Partner will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure effective financial accounting and reporting.

Duties

  • Take the lead in expense partnering for fast-paced functions, where your expertise and influence will directly impact key business outcomes, including growth, profitability, and customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Finance Director and business unit executives.
  • Provide top-tier partnering support by transforming data and financial figures into compelling business insights and storyboards, influencing decision-making at all levels to drive cost management and broader strategic objectives.
  • Guide leadership and Finance Directors (FDs) in fostering a cost-conscious culture and proactively managing expenditures.
  • Enhance standard cost reporting from the central expense team with valuable insights and ad-hoc cost analysis.

Requirements

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Experience of presenting to a senior audience, whether on-line or in person.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to work at the most senior levels of organisations.
  • Proactive, energetic and versatile with a "can do" approach
