We are seeking a Quantity Surveyoror Cost Consultantand will consider applicants at all levels, from Assistant to Senior, to join theirIpswich office.

You will work on a range of exciting projects, primarily across theKing's Lynn and Cambridge areas, contributing to thesuccessful delivery by providing expert cost management and consultancy services. Key responsibilities of this role to include:

  • Provide full cost consultancy services, including cost planning, budgeting, and procurement advice.
  • Manage pre- and post-contract duties, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate on projects across various sectors, ensuring value for money and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and support junior team members (for senior applicants).

The ideal applicant for this position will possess;

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Membership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body such as RICS.
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction practices and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites in King's Lynn and Cambridge as needed.
