Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a quantity surveying role
  • Bachelor’s HNC/D (preferred)
  • Willingness and flexibility to learn new skills and working practices, as required
  • A genuine desire to develop a career in construction
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic and customer-focused
  • Approachable and responsive.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • An eye for detail and understanding the expected standards to be delivered
  • Competent in IT skills and software packages that are relevant to the role

Supporting the team of Quantity Surveyors, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Re-measurement
  • Recording and distributing project information
  • Assistance with Final Account preparation
  • Supply chain cost control
  • Enquiry preparation and analysis
  • Assisting with Estimating
