About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their accomplished team. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on exciting residential projects throughout East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the commercial process on residential construction projects.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.
- Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project financial performance.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth delivery and successful outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the residential construction sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, project management systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, RICS accreditation desirable).
