About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their accomplished team. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on exciting residential projects throughout East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the commercial process on residential construction projects.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.
  • Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project financial performance.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth delivery and successful outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the residential construction sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, project management systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, RICS accreditation desirable).
